You are loved, even when you don’t feel it.

When life feels dark and heavy, it’s easy to feel like you are alone and unworthy. But that is not the truth. Scripture reminds us that, for believers in Jesus, nothing can separate us from the love of God. Here’s a comprehensive list from Romans 8:38-39:

Death or life.

While we’re living, we can never escape God's love. After we pass away from this earth, God will forever embrace us in His love.

Angels or demons.

No power from heaven, earth, or hell can keep us from God's love.

The present.

Nothing we are currently facing is bigger than God's love. His love is here with us right now.

The future.

Nothing that will ever happen will separate us from God's love. Everything is covered by the blood of Jesus on the cross!

Any powers.

No authority, decrees, laws, or regulations will stop God's love from reaching us.

Height or depth.

There's nowhere you can go to escape God's love; He is everywhere, which means His love is everywhere.

Anything else in all creation.

In case that list wasn't exhaustive enough, let's go ahead and round it out with "anything else in all creation"--there is nothing that exists that can keep us from God's love.

Know today that, regardless of what you feel, God's love is with you. Your past, pain, and darkest thoughts can't hinder God from reaching you. You are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.
